Our rattery set up consists mostly of large bird cages and aviaries. I find these to be very well put together, quick to clean, and easy to decorate. They're also pretty solid and escape proof. My rattery colors are Purple and Black (and a side color of Silver) so those are the colors my rattery room is based around.

Today is Deep-Cleaning day, and Although it's not fully finished (there's decorating and organizing that needs to be finished) I thought I'd post a picture of how the Rattery room is looking. I personally LOVE it and it's much nicer in person haha
The set-up includes 12 cages (one double critter nation, 2 maternity-cages, one large 'baby-fun' cage, and the rest are bird cages) and one rat-rack- plus a few smaller cages in the quarantine area. They are not fully decorated at the moment as today is deep-cleaning day and most of their goodies are being washed.
Four of the cages are currently not being used (3 bird cages, some rack-tubs and one of the critter nation cages) but considering there are four litters due within the next 1.5-2weeks, they'll be getting used plenty soon enough

This is the Rattery symbol and is painted on the center wall of the Rattery. It's not perfect (Free-Hand Painted with Wall Paint) but I'm happy with it
I decided to add a bed to the Rattery room because when litters are due (and a few days after they're born) I will sleep down here to make sure everything runs smoothly. Plus I spend quite a bit of time here so it's a comfy place to relax with the mischief
